The Post Graduate and Research Department of Mathematics is one of the most vibrant and dynamic academic departments of BCM College. The B.Sc. Mathematics programme was introduced in 1958, followed by M.Sc. Mathematics in 1984 — the first Postgraduate programme of the institution. With 67 years of excellence, the department continues to impart extensive knowledge in pure and applied mathematics through rich academic and co-curricular initiatives.

Guided by our motto, “Seek, find and share truths of the universe through the eyes of a Mathematician,” we aim to transform our students into individuals of strong integrity, intellectual curiosity, and logical thinking.
