I cordially welcome you to the department of history in BCM College. The department was started in 1956 at the very instance of the induction of the college. History is considered to be the mother of all social sciences. Proper understanding of the discipline brings positive social change. At a time when history is deliberately distorted and presented to the new generation which is instrumental in creating chaos in society, we here in the BCM college imparts the subject with utmost transparency. We strive to make the students empowered through a proper footing on the right history leading to brighter future.

Apart from class room lecture, the students are guided to be good leaders and organizers. We have in the past helpful in making the modern students self reliant and social minded.

Along with the tutorial hours equipping each one to perform well in the examinations, we focus on developing the all round skills of students through versatile opportunities. We cater values, morality and ethics through our studies.
