ABOUT Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB)

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) has been one of the major flagship programmes of the Government to bring in cultural integration of the country. EBSB was announced by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 31st October, 2015 on the occasion of the 140th Birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Ministry of Education, Govt. of India is the coordinating Ministry for these activities under EBSB.

India is unique by its diverse, multi cultural, multi lingual nature, yet stands together as one nation with various religions, traditions, values, culture, languages, dresses, festivals, food cuisines etc. EBSB celebrates the unity in diversity through mutual interaction & joint programs between people and institutes of different states and UTs. The pairing state of Kerala is Himachal Pradesh and the pairing College of Bishop Chulaparambil Memorial College is Government College Karsog, Himachal Pradesh.

EBSB is an extended platform for students of our college to understand and learn about Himachal Pradesh and its people, culture, life style, food habits, music, dance, dressing styles, festivals etc. Various programmes are organized every month to know more about Himachal Pradesh through our pairing institute and many videos are prepared to send to them to know more about Kerala and culture here. This is a knowledge giving yet fun drive with our Principal Dr. Teena Annah Thomas, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Stephy Thomas and EBSB Coordinator Dr. Elizabeth V. John.
