1. Palm leaf manuscripts’ collection and preservation Preserves five Thaliyolagrandhangal (palm leaf manuscripts): Three of them are collections of ancient folk songs of Christians, one contains the Koodasappana of Arnose Pathiri and History of Christian Church in India and the third is an ayurvedic text.

In additions collected more than 1000 palm leaves from Kottayam area and returned back after applying preservation methods at Oriental Research Institute and Manuscripts Library, Kariavattam. Palm leaf manuscripts of Mr Chacko Tharayil, St Mary’s Kaduthuruthy Valiyapally and St Stephens’ Church, Uzhavur, etc. are among them. 

2. Ideator, Kerala Charithra Samskara Patana Yathra of BCM College Linguistically, culturally, geographically and historically Kerala is very rich and it is imperative for the department of Malayalam to acquaint the students with this richness and uniqueness for a better historic and cultural awareness on the importance of these places and persons in the Kerala living. In every year, one day study tour is organised to different parts of Kerala under the name Kerala Charithra Samskara Patana Yathra. The first Patana Yathra was organised on 18th February, 2017 to Thiruvananthapuram (Sree Padmanabha Swami Kshethram, Kerala Legislative Assembly and Museum, Oriental Research Institute and Manuscripts Library – Kariavattom), Thonnakkal Asan Smaraka Mandiram, Varkala Sivagiri Ashram and Papanasam Beach. The second was a nature camp at Thekkady which was followed by journeys to Alappad, Ambalappuzha, Krishnapuram palace and Alappuzha and then to Muziris (Kodungallur)
3. Ideator, Thekkumkoor Charithra Samskara Patana Yathra of BCM College Kottayam, where BCM College is located, was the capital of the Thekkumkoor Kingdom one of the prominent kingdoms in mediaeval Kerala. There are lots of historical narratives and archaeological remnants in and around Kottayam, especially in Thazhathangadi area, which indicates the antique splendour of the town. A half day walk through these memorial archaeological locations and vicissitudes is intended by Thekkumkoor Charithra Samskara Patana Yathra.
4. Co-ideator and co-ordinator, Akshara Puraskara Padhathi of BCM College Akshara Puraskara Padhathi is an all college competition aiming at promoting students to utilize the college library more effectively by the use of maximum number of books and by writing down the bibliography and a critical appraisal of the content of the books read. The winners are selected at the end of each academic year and the prizes are distributed on the College Day. It was launched for the first time on 19th June 2016.
5. Joint Co-ordinator, C.J. Thomas Anusmarana Prabhashanam at BCM College C.J. Thomas is a renowned Malayalam writer whose works in the fields of drama and criticism are well accredited. In connection with the 50th death anniversary of him, a memorial lecture was conducted in BCM College on 21st November 2018.
6. Joint Co-ordinator, Snehannam of BCM College Each Friday, students of various departments bring food packets to college and the packets thus collected (around 70 per week) is given to Abhayabhavan, a charitable home for the poor run by Missionaries of Charity (Mother Theresa Sisters). The department along with NSS functions as ideators as well as the coordinators.
7. Ideator, Harithadinacharanam of BCM College Fourth Wednesday of every month is celebrated as Harithadinam (Green day) in college from January 2019. Green Protocol is specially practiced on the day. Students and teachers try to come to college either on foot or in bicycle and those who come from distant areas cover on foot at least the distance from the last stop to the college. The teachers of Malayalam department along with students come to college on foot from S.H. Mount (3kms).
8. Joint Organiser, Fr Mathew Vattakkalathil Memorial Lecture  Fr Mathew Vattakkalathil Memorial Lecture was organized on 25th of August 2016 in connection with the 100th death anniversary of Fr Mathew Vattakkalathil who was a prominent figure for the erection of the Archeparchy of Kottayam which manages BCM College. Fr Mathew was the mentor for the publication of the book entitled Malayalathe Suriyani Kristhianikalute Purathanappattukal a compilation of different ancient songs of Syrian Christians of Kerala in 1910, which is the first published folk song collection in Kerala.
9. WheelOlam Penma: Pedal for Nature Organised different bicycle trips to various locations for students of BCM College in collaboration with various agencies

1. A trip with 13 participants of BCM college from Kottayam to Alappuzha which covered a distance of 62kms in bicycle was arranged in collaboration with Decathlon Thellakom and Aleppey Riders Club

2. A trip with 15 participants from BCM College from Decathlon to Taj Gateway Kumarakom through the interior paths of upper Kuttanadu covering 53kms in collaboration with KIMS Hospital, Kottayam and Decathlon, Thellakom was arranged.

3. Two rallies from Thellakom to Kottayam were organised as part of Harithadinacharanam and University Youth Festival in collaboration with Decathlon, Thellakom.

10. Co-formulator, Zero Credit Course on Jaiva Saksharatha Jaiva Saksharatha is a zero credit course formulated by the Department of Malayalam by which the students are given facility to know and experience the organic way of life which leads to mental and physical happiness.
11. Ideator, Sahapadikkoru Snehaveedu Padhathi  Sahapadikkoru Snehaveedu Padhathi visualised to encourage green living, waste management through scrap collection, focusing mainly in Kottayam Municipality, and its sorting and selling and wished to help needy students by financial assistance for the maintenance or construction of houses. Students and staff of BCM College distributed pamphlets on the importance of green living to at least ten nearby families which also had instructions for the scrap collection. During Pooja holidays students and staff collected scrap items and sold it. Rs. 58000/- thus collected was handed over to OJASS for the construction of house of a student of the college.
12. Joint Organiser, Nallathali Nallathali was a workshop conducted for the collection, preservation and conservation of palm leaf manuscripts. It was organized by the departments of Malayalam, Hindi and History of BCM College in collaboration with Oriental Research Institute & Manuscripts Library, Kariavattom, Kerala University and Dr Jacob Kollaparambil Educational Trust from 25th to 30th August 2016. More than 1000 and folia of palm leaves were collected for preservation. 10 students were trained for collection, preservation and conservation (oiling) of palm leaves and were issued certificates.
13. Ideator, Thaliyola Samrakshana Janakeeya Koottayma  Thaliyola Samrakshana Janakeeya Koottayma is a forum of the group of interested and volunteer persons to protect the palm leaves manuscripts of Kottayam.
14. Ideator, Chembakachottil Chayavattam Koottayma Chembakachottil Chayavattam Koottayma is a meeting together of all literature loving students of the college together with distinguished literary figures like poets, novelists, short story writers, etc.
