ACTIVITIES – HINDI DEPARTMENT

As part of the International webinar series VIKHARI-2K21 of BCM College Department of Hindi ,BCM Colllege had conducted a webinar on23rd September,2021.The topic of the seminar was (The emotional and social concerns of Hindi film songs). The resource person of the seminar was Dr.SanjeevKumar Dubey (Dean of Language ,Literature and Cultural Studies).

Hindi Day Celebration and Inauguration of “Hindi Munch” was conducted on 14/9/21 via Google meet.The chief Guest of the function was Dr.N K Joseph( Hindi writer,Former Head of the Department of Hindi ST.Thomas College Pala) .Dr.Stephy Thomas ,Principal of BCM College was the president of the meeting .Felicitation was done by Rev.Fr.Philmon Kalathra (Secretary Corporate Educational Agency of Colleges)

In association with Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and Film Club of BCM College Dept.of Hindi conducted a Quiz Competition about the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on her sad demise.

As part of the International Mother Tongue Day,HINDI Department in Association with EBSB conducted a seminar “HINDOLAM”.(A journey through the cultural exchange between Malayalam and Hindi Film songs).Seminar and video presentation was done by Dr.Naveena J Narithookil(HOD Hindi Department).
