Our sports programme envisions creating a vibrant athletic culture where students develop athletic skills, healthy lifestyles, and competitive spirit. Through structured training and participation in competitions, students are equipped with the confidence and motivation to excel both on and off the field.
Training, Coaching & Programs
The Department of Physical Education offers scientific coaching and structured training in a variety of disciplines, enabling students to explore their potential and participate competitively:
- Team Sports: Basketball, Kabaddi, Cricket, Volleyball and Throwball
- Individual Disciplines: Track & Field, Cycling, Wrestling, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo
- Fitness & Wellness Activities: Fitness Training, Self‑Defence, Zumba, Weight Training
Regular sessions, expert guidance and performance monitoring ensure that students not only hone their techniques but also embrace the values of sportsmanship, perseverance and teamwork.

The college provides well‑maintained facilities that support both recreational and competitive sports:
- Outdoor Courts & Grounds: Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket and multi‑sport fields
- Indoor Sports: Kabaddi, Badminton, Table Tennis
- Modern Fitness Centre: Cardio machines, multi‑station gym, weight lifting and power lifting equipment
- Support for Diverse Talents: Facilities and coaching support for students skilled in additional sporting events

Achievements & Competitive Success
BCM College has a long tradition of sporting excellence, having produced national and international level athletes across multiple disciplines. The college teams have consistently performed well in Mahatma Gandhi University championships, with the Kabaddi team retaining the University title since 2012.
