Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB)
Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) is a flagship initiative launched by the Government of India on 31st October 2015, coinciding with the 140th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Coordinated by the Ministry of Education, the programme is designed to foster cultural integration, national unity, and mutual understanding among students, educational institutions, and communities across India.
EBSB celebrates the spirit of “Unity in Diversity” by encouraging collaboration, cultural exchange, and joint initiatives between paired states. India’s rich diversity—its languages, traditions, festivals, cuisine, attire, and performing arts—forms the foundation of national integration, which EBSB aims to strengthen through continuous engagement and learning. At our college, Kerala is paired with Himachal Pradesh, with Government College, Karsog, Himachal Pradesh as our partner institution. This pairing allows students to gain first-hand experience of Himachal Pradesh’s culture, lifestyle, food habits, music, dance, festivals, and customs. Similarly, students share insights about Kerala’s heritage, fostering mutual appreciation and knowledge exchange.
Under the guidance of Dr. Teena Annah Thomas (Principal), Dr. Stephy Thomas (IQAC Coordinator), and Dr. Elizabeth V. John (EBSB Coordinator), students actively participate in monthly programs, workshops, seminars, and multimedia projects, combining learning, creativity, and cultural celebration.
