Catholic Students Movement (CSM)
The Catholic Students Movement (CSM) aims to nurture spiritual growth, Catholic values, and social responsibility among students, and to extend these values into the wider community. All Catholic students of the college are encouraged to be members and actively participate in prayer services, Holy Mass, retreats, and community outreach programs.
CSM activities are guided by faculty coordinators and student representatives, fostering a supportive, faith-driven, and value-based environment.

Core Activities
- Morning Prayer Services: Held regularly to cultivate reflection and spiritual growth.
- Holy Mass: Conducted on the first Friday of every month for students and faculty.
- Rosary Service: Special prayers in October, including rosary-making sessions.
- Annual Retreat: Spiritual retreats for students to deepen faith and personal reflection.
- Prayer Meeting: Weekly gatherings for personal sharing, group activities, and discussions.

Notable Programs and Events
Virtual Fellowship Gatherings (2020-2021)
CSM adapted to virtual platforms during the pandemic, ensuring continued spiritual engagement:
- First Virtual Gathering (25th July 2020):
- Resource Person: Mr. Ashish Jose (Jesus Youth, Pala Zone)
- Focus: Testimony on Jesus as a personal guide and friend.
- Outcome: Interactive discussion on faith and personal growth.
- Planned by: Ms. Anu Luke, Ms. Alfi Thomas, Ms. Sona Jimmy, Ms. Besly Rachel Shaji
- Second Virtual Gathering – PUBG (Picked Up By God, 8th August 2020):
- Resource Person: Ms. Mary Neethu, professional counselor and social innovator for the transgender community in Kerala.
- Highlight: Awarded Global Best Women Achiever 2020 for social contributions.
- Planned by: Ms. Jeeshma Joy, Ms. Alfi Thomas, Ms. Bavya, Ms. Josna, Ms. Anjana

- Spiritual Programs (2019-2020)
- Orientation for First-Year Students: Introduced CSM and its activities through interactive sessions, short films, and action songs
- Feast of the Sacred Heart (June 28):Prayer ceremonies and blessings led by Rev. Fr. Philmon Kalathra.
- Fresher’s Day (July 6, 2019): Welcome ceremony with the theme “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12), emphasizing sharing God’s light.
- Youth Retreat (2–3 August 2019): Two-day retreat with parallel sessions for Christians and non-Christians, conducted by Redemptions Youth Ministries (RYM).
- Month of the Holy Rosary (October): Daily rosary recitations led by faculty and students, along with rosary-making classes conducted by Sr. Joan SVM.
- New Year Prayer Ceremony (1st January 2020): Message delivered by Dr. Annu Thomas (Vice Principal & CSM Coordinator), combined with a skit by Jesus Youth members and Holy Mass by Rev. Fr. Philmon Kalathra.
- Jesus Youth Gathering (22nd January 2020): Address by Mr. Thejus, full-time member of Jesus Youth, Kottayam Zone, sharing his experiences and the power of the Gospel.
- Samadhana Sandhesha Yathra: CSM members participated in the peace march organized by KCYM, promoting peace andempowering youth to combat social evils. The rally was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Michael Vettikattu (Vicar General, Kottayam Archdiocese) and led by Mr. Cyriac Chazhikattu.

CSM Student Leadership
CSM places student leadership at the heart of its operations. From planning events to driving policy discussions, student leaders at every level take ownership of the movement's direction and impact.
