Combating Covid

BISHOP CHULAPARAMBIL MEMORIAL COLLEGE JOINS THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19: OUR RESPONSE TO THE WORLDWIDE CALL FOR HELP!

Hi all! I feel encouraged to see the remarkable commitment of our departments in mobilising our students to ensure community safety during such an unprecedented time. Our teachers and students have been keen to make PPE-masks and sanitizers, share the know-how of making hand sanitizers with the authorities of Central Prison, Viyyur and cook the right food with easily available low-cost greens and lentils to develop immunity. Congratulations to all of you on your adaptability & resourcefulness in these testing times.

Teach Yourself how to make a cotton cloth mask

Here’s your own Teacher Ms. Praseetha PS of Family and Community Science Department giving you a video tutorial on making cloth masks. She will be walking you through two videos: one for those who know how to use a sewing machine & the other for those who can use basic hand sewing stitches. Our college aims to trigger self sufficiency by encouraging students and staff to make sufficient masks for ourselves for the days ahead.
