Application Procedure

Community Quota Seats

  • Candidates applying for Community Quota seats may use the application form which can be obtained from college office directly or the downloaded application form. Those who are using the downloaded application should remit the fees online through SBI Collect .
  • Application to the college office, shall be submitted directly or through post, should include the testimony from Parish Priest and copy of certificates to prove the age and marks obtained in U.G examinations.
  • Candidates should apply through CAP as well.

Management Quota Seats

  • Candidates applying for Management Quota seats may use the application form which can be obtained from college office directly or the downloaded application form. Those who are using the downloaded application should remit the fees online through the SBI Collect.
  • Separate application forms should be used for aided and self-financing programmes. Candidates can use the same application form for applying to two aided programmes.  However, separate application forms must be used for each self-financing programmes.
  •  Application to the college office, shall be submitted directly or through post. It should include copy of certificates to prove the age and marks obtained in U.G examinations.
  • Candidates should apply through CAP as well.

Open Quota seats, Mandatory and Special Reservation Seats

  • Candidates need to apply through CAP only
  • Application forms received at the College office after the last date specified by the University, downloaded applications without remitting the prescribed fees, application forms that are incomplete or with false information will be rejected without notice.
  • Mere downloading the applications forms and/or remitting fees online will not make you eligible for admissions. Submission of application form and other eligibility conditions prescribed by the university should be fulfilled by the candidate.
  • Fee for the application form can be paid through SBI Collect  (https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm) with the following options chosen:
  • State of Corporate/Institution : Kerala
  • Type of Corporate/Institution : Educational Institution
  • Educational Institution’s Name: BCM College, Kottayam
  • Applications will be made available in the College Office and in the College website from 17th September 2020 onwards.
  • If there are any discrepancies, rules/conditions specified by the university will be binding

ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE, POST ALLOTMENT (Admission procedure of the college after PG CAP)

Due to the current situation prevailing due to COVID 19 pandemic, the candidates need not come to the college for verification of their certificates except when intimated by the University. The candidates who sought permanent admission to PG programs in Bishop Chulaparambil Memorial (BCM) College  after the allotment processes by the university may kindly do the following steps.

I) Remit the required fee due to the university (Rs. 50 for SC/ST. For all other categories, Rs. 1063 for those who have graduated from M.G. University and  Rs. 1313 for those who have graduated from other universities) through www.cap.mgu.ac.in

II) Print the receipt of the above payment

III) Download, print and fill up the college application form

IV) Download, print and fill up the anti – ragging form Click here

V) Remit the required fee due to the college through SBI Collect link here

VI) Print the receipt of the above payment

VII) Please send:-

• The above documents (II,III,IV, VI)

• One copy each of all the certificates uploaded in the PG cap site at the time of applying for PG Programme

• 2 copies of SSLC or equivalent

• 2 copies of Plus Two certificate

Original and 2 copies of UG Consolidated mark list

Original and 2 copies of Provisional certificate

Original TC

Original Conduct certificate

• A Copy of bank pass book (if eligible for E-Grant)

• Two passport size photos

• A copy of Aadhar Card

• Eligibility or migration certificate if applicable
